Welcome to My Lumber Supply Shop

I've been crafting Shaker-style boxes since 1993, and for most of that time, I’ve milled my own material. Over the years, I’ve had folks ask about purchasing some of my lumber, and while I’ve occasionally fulfilled those requests, I’ve finally decided to offer it for sale here on the website for delivery.

I understand that fellow boxmakers have been having a difficult time procuring materials over the last few months, which has prompted me to expand my shop to include lumber sales. I originally planned to launch this later in the year, but the recent influx of emails has encouraged me to start now. While some of my available quantities may be a bit low at the moment, I have plenty of rough-sawn material ready to be processed. If you need something specific or in larger quantities, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I most likely have it on hand and just need to finish the milling process.

The quantities listed are what I currently have cut to final length, width, and near thickness, needing only a final pass through the drum sander or planer. All listed quantities are ready to ship within three days. To make your shopping experience easier, I offer free shipping on orders of $125.00 or more within the United States.

If you have any questions, feel free to email or call. I typically respond to emails between 6 and 8 am each morning. If you prefer to call, just leave a message, and I’ll get back to you—I’m usually in the workshop running machinery during the day, so I might not be able to pick up right away, but I will return your call.

Please note that I don’t offer tacks for sale, but if you’re having trouble sourcing them, I recommend contacting DB Gurney in Massachusetts. They currently have sizes #1.5 and #2 in stock (you’ll need to call them, as these aren’t available for purchase on their website yet), and they’ll be making #1’s, #2.5’s, and copper shoe pegs in the near future. If you know of any other suppliers, please let me know—I’d appreciate the information.

Thanks for stopping by, and I’m looking forward to helping you with your woodworking projects!
